Professional Studies

The Division of Professional Studies includes courses in discipleship, evangelism, and leadership coupled with experiences in service to provide students with foundational abilities to fulfill the College’s mission “to develop servant-leaders for the church.” By experiencing a wide range of ministry options, students are better aware of their future ministry opportunities.

Divisional Goals

  1. Students will be able to communicate the Bible clearly and contextually.
  2. Students will be able to lead a person to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
  3. Students will be able to equip others for active service in the body of Christ.
  4. Students will be able to conduct a Biblical ministry sensitive to historical, social, and cultural contexts.
  5. Students will be able to exhibit the character and gifts of a Christ-like servant-leader.

Note:  In degrees which allow for “Ministry Electives,” courses may be chosen from those below which are marked with an asterisk following the number of hours {e.g. PCM225*}.
