Central Christian College of the Bible won a pair of games at the ACCA National Tournament to bring home the title on Saturday in Joplin.

A record-setting season just got better. After falling just short in an attempt to win their first-ever region title, the seventh-ranked CCCB Saints were awarded for their 17-5 mark on the season with the final at-large bid to the 2008 NCCAA Division II Soccer Championships in Kissimmee, Fla.

In a season full of firsts for the CCCB men's soccer program, the 10th-ranked Saints added to their list of accomplishments in 2008 by making their first appearance in the Midwest Christian College Conference title game.

The 2008 soccer season is just one month away as the Saints kick off the season with their annual scrimmage against the alumni on Aug. 22.
