From time to time, the Financial Aid office may request that you send information to the college. One of the most common reasons for this request is because your FAFSA may have been selected for verification by the Department of Education. If selected you will need to send the following items:
- Your *IRS Return Tax Transcript. If you are a dependent student according to the Dept. of Education definition (see Financial Aid Handbook for complete definition) you must submit not only your 2011 tax information, but your parent's 2011 tax information as well.
- Your 2011 W-2's (and your parent's if applicable)
- Verification Worksheet sent by the Financial Aid Office
- Special Income Verification Items sent by the Financial Aid Office
*To obtain your Tax Transcript, please call 1-800-908-9946 or go to www.irs.gov, click on "Order a Return or Account Transcript" link. Please choose Return Tax Transcript.
Please do not send your Tax Returns, We need your Tax Transcript from the IRS.
Please make sure you sign all documents and double check to make sure you have sent all requested documents.
