Central Christian College of the Bible Scholarship Application

In addition to the Full-Tuition Scholarship, Central is proud to offer four additional Scholarships. These Scholarships were provided by the generosity of individuals who support Central in its endeavor to develop servant-leaders for the church. All recipients of the scholarship must demonstrate Christian character, growth, and leadership abilities. Recipients must be seeking a bachelor's degree from Central.

The LINCOLN SCHOLARSHIP is in honor of Roy F. Lincoln to recognize the leadership and Service he gave to Central Christian College in the 34 years he served on the College's Board of Directors. The recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate financial need, be a junior or senior student, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and be a member in good standing in a Restoration Church.  Application due June 30th of each year.  

The "GO YE" SCHOLARSHIP was established by Tom & Margery Plumb to encourage Central's international students to continue their plans to work in a mission activity after graduation. The recipient should be an international student who is an immersed believer, had two previous years of training at CCCB, plan to work in a mission activity after graduation, have at least a GPA of 2.0, and be a member of good standing in a Restoration Church.  Application due June 30th of each year.

THE KENNY BURGUS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established by the Burgus family in memory of 23 year old Kenny Burgus who died as a result of an ATV accident.  The scholarship recipient should be a junior or senior male student who is pursuing a 4 year degree in Cross Cultural, Preaching, or Youth and Family Ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible.  The recipient shall maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0, and regularly attend a Restoration Christian Church/Church of Christ.  Application due June 1st of each year.

The EXCELLENCE IN BIBICAL LANGUAGE SCHOLARSHIP was established to make a difference and encourage students who excel in the study of biblical languages.  Students must complete the scholarship application and submit an essay entitled "How Will My Study of Biblical Languages Help Spread the Gospel."  Eligible students must have had at least one (1) A in their first year of studying the Greek Language and are subsequently enrolled in an additional Greek or Hebrew language course.  Qualified students are pursuing a Bachelors of Arts Degree and their Major or Minor would be one of the following.

a.  Preaching

b. Missions

c. Biblical Languages

d.  Christian Ministry

THE BRADLEY GOOD CITIZENSHIP AWARD was established to promote good citizenship and to encourage students who demonstrate an aptitude for good money management skills, good interpersonal relationship skills, and spiritual values.  Applicants must complete the application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office by June 30th of each year.  

HONORS SCHOLARSHIPS are for incoming students with a 25 ACT and a 3.5 GPA.  These scholarships range from $500 to $4,500 per semester for four years.  Applications are to be submitted by March 31st of each year.
