Jon Weece will speak at CCCB's Men's Banquet

Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO, will hold the annual Men’s Day and Banquet on Thursday, March 7.  Men’s Day will feature Jon Weece as the workshop leader and banquet speaker.  The theme this year is  “The DNA of a Dangerous Church.”

Jon Weece, a native of Columbia, MO, will be the workshop leader and banquet speaker.  Mr. Weece is the senior minister at the Southland Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky.  He was born and raised in Columbia, where his father, Roy Weece, was the director of the Christian Campus House near the MU Campus.  In 2000 he joined the teaching staff at Southland Christian Church and became the senior minister in 2003.  Mr. Weece is also the author of four books on the life of Jesus.

During his time at Southland as the senior minister, the church has grown from 7,000 people to over 10,000 people.  Southland’s evangelistic efforts can be traced to a simple plan for loving the poor of their city whom they serve every day.  Jon’s greatest desire in life is to be a great husband to Allison, and a great dad to their two children.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

4:30 p.m. Workshop  - “Healthy Leadership”
5:45 p.m. Fellowship – enjoy light appetizers and visiting with friends
6:30 p.m. Banquet  - “DNA of a Dangerous Church” (Gal. 5:6)

The cost to attend the Men’s Banquet is $15.  Please call the college receptionist at 1-888-263-3900 x110 or email your reservations to alumni@cccb.edu.  Reservations
