Roger Tribble honored by Missouri Christian Convention

At the most recent Missouri Christian Convention, held at Tan-Tar-A resort (March 22-23), the convention recognized former CCCB board member Roger Tribble as an honored servant.

Roger Tribble began preaching at the Phillipsburg (Missouri) Christian Church in October 20, 1946.  Through his preaching career, he served as the preaching minister at Phillipsburg (twice) and organized and was the first minister of Southern Heights Christian Church in Lebanon, Missouri.  He also traveled extensively as a traveling evangelist, both full-time and while conducting those ministries.

Roger hosted a radio program for a total of 51 years.  In 67 years of preaching, he delivered over 12,000 sermons, conducted 500 revivals in 23 states, performed 250 weddings, and presided at 1,000 funerals.

Roger graduated from Ozark Bible College as valedictorian in 1951, and served as a Trustee of his alma mater for 42 years.  He also served Central Christian College of the Bible with distinction as a member of the Board of Directors for over 25 years.  Roger presently serves as Minister Emeritus at Phillipsburg Christian Church, where he preaches on Sunday evenings.

We share with the Missouri Christian Convention in recognizing this honored servant for his influence in the churches where he preached, throughout Missouri and the Midwest, and especially through his service to Central Christian College of the Bible.
