MOBERLY, Mo. - The Central Christian College of the Bible staff will be a part of the North American Christian Convention,
which takes place July 3-6 at the Kansas City Convention Center.
CCCB will be in booth number 811, with four booth spaces. The public is welcomed to come by and check out photos from the 50th anniversary celebration,
or to simply leave a note for any of the CCCB faculty.
CCCB will host a reception on Thursday, July 5, in Room 2501 D at the Convention Center, immediately following the main session. CCCB will announce new
programs, plans, and personnel. We hope to see you there!
The North American Christian Convention is an annual gathering of Christians for worship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, and networking.
The NACC office is not a denominational headquarters office. Each of the 6,500 churches in North America that identify themselves as part of the fellowship of
"Christian churches and churches of Christ" is independent and autonomously governed.
The convention typically features seven worship services for adults. In addition to the worship sessions, Bible studies and ministry-related workshops are held.
A full teen convention, including main sessions and workshops, is scheduled each year in addition to day trips and evening worship for elementary-aged children.
Each year, the exhibit hall includes displays from more than 300 different organizations including Christian colleges, missionaries, churches, non-profit ministries, and publishing houses.
The NACC began in 1927 as a convention for vocational Christian leaders. Since the 1960s, the NACC has been an annual four-day summer convention attracting many vocational and non-vocational Christian leaders and their families.
In recent years, the convention has drawn approximately 10,000-15,000 people.
