MOBERLY, Mo. - "Welcome to the CCCB Family" is a five-day New Student Orientation scheduled for Aug. 18-22 on the Central Christian College of the Bible campus.
The event is designed to help new students find their place and successfully begin their Bible-centered higher education career at CCCB.
What to Bring
You may bring items to make your room your own. Remember that space is limited when three students share a room and that there is no storage space available outside of your room on campus.
You will need to bring bedding for single beds (extra-long single sheets for Lang Hall).
You may bring irons with automatic shut-off, stereos, computers, books, candle warmers, and personal items.
Since there is central heating in the dorms but no air conditioning, you may bring and use a window air conditioner.
All air conditioners will be installed by maintenance personnel. Nails may not be put into the walls or furnishings.
Permanent adhesives should not be applied to woodwork. Please check out the online Student Handbook at www.cccb.edu/studentlifehandbook.pdf for student clothing expectations before executing your off-to-college shopping spree.
You may bring a microwave, slow cooker, George Foreman-type grill, refrigerator, and coffee pot with automatic shut-off.
Landline telephones may be installed in the dorm rooms through AT&T.
Please check-out the information in the handbook about movies and video games.
Check-in When You Arrive
Please follow the signs to the lobby of Pelfrey Hall to check-in when you arrive before going to the dorms. There you will receive a personal welcome, important information, and your pass to move-in.
Continue to check your CCCB student portal for the latest information.
Becoming Family
Saturday afternoon's family information sessions will equip parents and spouses to support you in your academic pursuits.
Saturday evening's banquet (barbeque brisket, pork loin, au gratin potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, dinner rolls, dessert, and beverage) is free for CCCB students and costs $7.00 for additional family members (children 3 and under are free).
