This October Central Christian College of the Bible is reinstating its IN FOCUS program with the theme "Discovering Your Potential in Christ." It is our hope that we can encourage area high school youth to develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual benefits and physical responsibilities of living as a Christian, facilitate growth in students who are already founded in Christ, and plant the seed in youth who have not yet begun their relationship with Him.
The much-anticipated return of this event will benefit your students and aid in your ministry to your church's high schoolers. The theme, messages, breakout sessions, and activities are all intended to initiate reflection about the basics of being a Christian in our mixed-up world.

Date: October 27-28, 2006

Registration is from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p. m. Friday evening. During registration the CCCB men's basketball team will take on the Alumni in Pelfrey Hall.

This year's IN FOCUS will close Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with a concert by Arkansas rockers Jonah33.

The cost is $25 per person if you register by October 13 and $30 after the 13th. This includes the concert. One female and one male sponsor may attend free of charge. Concert ticket will be on sale for $15 for those who can't come for the full weekend but would like to attend the concert.

Our main speaker is Jon Ralls, from Warrensburg, Mo. Ralls, a CCCB Alumnus, currently works as a campus minister at Central Missouri State University and has served as a missionary to Taiwan and a professor at CCCB.

Saturday breakfast and lunch will be provided. However, only refreshments will be served on Friday evening.

Students will need to bring bedding, toiletries, and a Bible. Dorm space will be available to pre-registered groups on a first-come-first-served basis.
We are excited to be able to offer In Focus to the area youth. The weekend promises to be both fun and uplifting. Be prepared to enjoy In Focus and to be challenged to "Discover Your Potential in Christ."
