Step 8: Entrance Counseling
Once you have completed your on-line loan request, you need to complete your federally mandated entrance counseling. Entrance Counseling explains to you the ramifications of borrowing money.
They will take you through a series of informational screens and then you take a short quiz at the end to validate that you understood what you read.
The school cannot disperse your loan to your student account until this step has been completed and the financial aid office has received notification of your completion of the quiz.
