Plans are now coming together for the Cantemawaste Youth Camp for the summer of 2014.  Camp dates have been set, and we have modified some of the camp content and daily schedule based upon last year’s camp.  This coming summer is shaping up to be a fantastic time of God’s outpouring of love to the youth of the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation!  We are recruiting college students to come work at these camps.  There is specifically a need for help in the first two camps of the summer, but help is still needed for all of them.

After “crunching the numbers” at the end of the summer, we also found that we were also able to reduce the cost required for work group members.  Last year we asked for $350.00 from each person coming to work, but thanks to some frugal budgeting, donations and some adjustments, we feel that we can cover all the costs associated for $250.00.  This cost covers not only the meals and expenses for one the work group member coming here, but also helps to sponsor the Native American youth that are attending camp.

There are three documents attached:

·         2014 Guidelines.  This document has the basic information about the camps including dates, requirements, expectations, individual application form, and individual permission to obtain background check form.

·         2014 Staff Camp Daily Schedule.  This document has the daily schedule for the week.  There may be slight changes to it, but this will give you a good idea of how the week will be structured

·         2014 Workgroup Application.  This form is for the workgroup leader(s) to complete and return to as soon as possible so that scheduling of groups can move forward.

Thank you so very much for prayerfully considering whether God is calling you to come to Diamond Willow Ministries this summer and minister through the Cantemawaste Youth Camps.  All of us here realize it is a significant commitment and we greatly appreciate your sacrifice of time, money and talents.
